Arizona Illegal Immigrant Law

April 28, 2010
Sent to Obama, Pelosi, Bishop, Reid, Schumer, Gillibrand. Holder, Napolitano

The Killing of Robert Krentz and a Responsible Reaction

There comes a time when a man must stand and defend his family, property and way of life.  When the federal government or local law enforcement is unwilling or unable to protect its citizens from invaders and enforce the laws of the land, we citizens are left with few choices – it's either fight or die.

The murder of Arizona rancher, Robert Krentz, on March 27, 2010 by an alleged criminal who crossed an unguarded border from Mexico occurred after ample alarm had been given by the people of Arizona.  His death, which falls under President Obama's watch, seems to have been ignored by the administration – except for criticism against citizens seeking to defend themselves.

It is my opinion that Janet Napolitano and Barack Obama are guilty of neglect.  They are guilty of failing to protect US citizens and visitors from organized criminal activity, foreign gangs, robbery, property destruction, drug smuggling, kidnappings, human trafficking and home invasions from people who illegally crossed the border from Mexico.

We've traveled frequently to Arizona and plan to return in May or June.  We started traveling the United States 11 years ago and haven't felt the threats that the citizens in Arizona have.  Our decision to travel unarmed was made in the confidence of God's protection as told about in the Book of Ezra in the Bible.  The Israelites had to travel approximately 800 miles across hostile territory with close to 30 tons of silver and gold.  Ezra led the people safely without the protection of King Artaxerxes.  The text of Ezra's confidence gave us confidence in God's protection:
Ezra said, " I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.”    Ezra 8:22

Mexican President Felipe Calderon criticized the Arizona law and charged that it will lead to "intolerance, hate discrimination and abuse in law enforcement."  Mexican lawmakers are calling for economic boycotts against Arizona.  Conspicuously absent is an expression of concern for Mr. Krents's family.  Come to think of it, I haven't read of my president – the one who travels the world apologizing for America – apologizing to the Krentz family for his lapse of security measures that could have prevented Mr. Krentz's assassination

I read the entire Arizona Senate Bill 1070 and am puzzled by the "police state" reaction – the reaction is obviously from people who haven't taken the time to read it.  About 2 pages deal with cooperation with and enforcement of federal laws.  Approximately 3 pages refer to trespassing, smuggling and unlawful stopping of vehicles, unlawful work and illegal transportation of illegal aliens.  Employer regulations cover half the document at 8 pages.  Almost 3 pages cover employment eligibility and vehicle seizure.  These are the same laws that would be applicable in any US state.

I also read Michelle Malkin's, "How Mexico Treats Its Illegal Aliens" at:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/uc/20100428/cm_uc_crmmax/op_1913861
If we subject Mexicans to the same laws that the Mexican government does to its visitors, we'd be accused of being a police state – and rightly so.

Senators John McCain and Jon Kyl asked for 3,000 troops at the border to keep our citizens safe.  I suggest that we transfer the money for the additional17,000 IRS agents – who will police our citizens to comply with the government-mandated health program – to police the border with Mexico.

Our president foolishly jumped into the fray and glibly asserted that a parent and child seeking ice cream could be pounced upon by a zealous police officer demanding to see their papers.  That sounds like the same gut-level reaction that led to the beer summit – another stroke of genius.

Eric Holder calls the Arizona law "an unfortunate one."  He also said, "… I'm very concerned about the wedge that it could draw between communities that law enforcement is supposed to serve and those of us in law enforcement."  Sadly, the thugs who menaced voters in Philadelphia and the union thugs who beat Kenneth Gladney weren't dealt with and are still protected by Holder and Obama.

Rather than criticizing the efforts made by the law-abiding citizens of Arizona, our federal government needs to dig in and clean up the immigration mess and protect Robert Krentz's family and friends.  We don't need the internment camps that Liberals Wilson and Roosevelt inflicted upon our country – we need committed, compassionate and adult wisdom from our elected officials.

Value Added Tax and Imflammatory Speech

April 24, 2010

Value Added Tax

Halloween images are appropriate for what you're doing to the American public with your unrestrained spending and taxing.  Like the vampire, you seem to be addicted to sucking the blood of our lives through taxes.  Because of you, our children and grand children will be denied the same prosperity that we enjoy.

You've lost touch!  Obama, Reid and Pelosi are millionaires.  Your salaries are way beyond the average American – Obama, $374,460; Reid. $193,400; Pelosi, $223,500; Bishop, Gillibrand and Schumer, $174,000 each.  Your lifetime pensions are more generous than most of the people who pay your salaries.

Now you're floating the idea of a Value Added Tax.  That would be a disaster.
The advertisement below is from Dick's Sporting Goods.

Now that may not be a lot to you fat-cat Washington politicians with your exorbitant salaries, outlandish perquisites and retirement benefits but it sure is a lot to a parent struggling to keep the kids clothed and fed.

I wonder why you would trade the opportunities that we have for the subsistence levels of the socialist countries where the common man is reduced to depending on government handouts.  America was built on and defended free-market principles where a person with an idea and hard work could make a fortune.

Inflammatory Speech

Bertha Lewis, CEO of Acorn – a close ally of candidate Barack Obama – said, at the Winter Conference of the Young Democratic Socialists on March 25, 2010, "We are living in a time which is going to dwarf … the internment during World War II … the era of Jim Crow and segregation … They are coming and they are coming after you and they are going to be brutal and oppressive."  http://biggovernment.com/amarcus/2010/04/22/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-recent-bertha-lewis-acorn-rant/

Maybe you should tell Bertha Lewis that Presidents Wilson and Roosevelt, two Democrats, interned innocent Americans.  Maybe you should tell her that it was Southern Democrats who fought to protect segregation and Jim Crow laws.  Tell her that Senator McCarthy was censured by the Senate in 1954 at the instigation of Republicans, not Democrats.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_McCarthy#Censure_and_the_Watkins_Committee

"President Woodrow Wilson imprisoned over 100,000 Americans during World War I who were deemed political opponents or pacifists."  http://www.americanfreepress.net/html/camps_for_dissidents_190.html

"By presidential directive, 120,000 Japanese residents, 80,000 of whom were American citizens by birth, were taken from their homes, farms and businesses and interned at relocation sites far inland. Roosevelt showed little remorse." http://campaigningforhistory.blogs.nytimes.com/tag/woodrow-wilson/

It seems that your political tribe, from Barack to Bertha with the rest of you in the middle, are pandering to your base and the only reason that I can think of is that you are fearful of Americans who reject the socialist leanings of this administration.  The violent rhetoric comes mainly from the Democratic party and is aimed at its base:

Ø the base that responds to Ron Bloom who said, "We kind of agree with Mao that political power comes largely from the barrel of a gun."; http://freedomeden.blogspot.com/2009/10/ron-bloom-mao-and-free-market-nonsense.html
Ø the base that responds to Barack Obama who said, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” ; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2482761/posts
Ø the base that thrives on violence and beats an honor student to death with a 2x4 on a Chicago street; http://cbs2chicago.com/local/derrion.albert.investigation.2.1212436.html
Ø the base that influences the Justice Department to drop charges against thugs menacing voters in Philadelphia;  http://thebulletin.us/articles/2009/05/29/top_stories/doc4a1f42b32c161287079901.txt
Ø the base that tolerates the beating of Kenneth Gladney by SEIU thugs and the silencing of Gladney's First Amendment Rights.

While "campaign" and "lock and load" may be military terms, they are also political terms that refer to great contests.  That's quite different from the issues above.

It's amusing to hear you people refer to older and peaceful citizens who gather and let their opinions be known as "Astroturf" and "mob".  Where is the respect of the First Amendment and its prohibition of government against limiting speech and freedom of assembly?  Where is the "integrity, civility and fiscal discipline" promised by Nancy Pelosi in her "A New Direction for America"?

If you ask me – and I know that you would rather dwell in an ivory tower where your subjects fawn over you than hear my humble opinions – the taxpaying citizens of these United States don't want the     *     tax burdens that you're foisting upon us.  We don't need or want bigger government to take care of us – maybe those without "skin in the game" want your largess but we don't!

There's time to turn this mess around and I urge you to do so before your goons come for me to drag me to the internment camp – you Democrats have a track record of deceiving and imprisoning innocent people and the American taxpayer is going to continue to search for and reveal the truth.

*(ask Rham or Joe for an appropriate expletive)

April 10, 2010

Sent to Obama, Pelosi, Bishop, Reid, Gillibrand, Schumer

I'm in the middle of that annoying time of year – income-tax preparation – and am seething over the news that 47% in our country will pay no federal income taxes.1  They will get credits that were designed to lift them out of poverty thanks to a program enacted by Congress in 1975.2  Can you tell me if that is working?

We're creating a welfare state that is poised to consume more than it is capable of producing.  Millions are unemployed and yet your political tribe spent more than a year jamming a health care program down our throats rather than working on the economy.  It doesn't take a genius to know that potential employers aren't going to hire workers until there's evidence that an entrepreneur can have a chance of making a profit for his or her investment in time and money. The professors or career politicians seem incapable of understanding that basic concept.

It's discouraging to learn – "after the package was unwrapped", as Nancy Pelosi said – that there are provisions that will bankrupt our country and enslave future generations.  One provision seems to have exempted members of Congress (and their staff) from the same coverage that everyone will be compelled to purchase.

S.E.C. chairwoman, Mary L. Shapiro, speaking about financial reform bills, said that financial companies needed to "keep skin in the game."3   It seems to me that neither Congress nor the 47% have the motivation to keep the game in action.  Your political tribe is ruthless in consolidating power evidenced by the bribes and arm-twisting needed to enact the widely unpopular health-care bill to the delight of the 47% and the anger of the 53% who are going to have to pay for this debacle.

Those who have no skin in the game love this bill – they've got nothing to lose.  There will come a time when the follies of this administration and the rotten fruit that it has produced will bubble to the surface and foul the air just as methane does when it bubbles up from the swamp.  Barack Obama, the candidate, promised to eliminate the pork and yet there's so much pork in '09 that it takes 37,450 lines to list it all. 4

It appears that the progressives, for all their rhetoric about improving the lives of Americans, have contributed to the continuance of a class of dependent people.  It's mysterious how you folks could end a successful educational program that granted poor D.C. kids and their parents an alternative choice rather than bondage to the dysfunctional Washington school system.

I'll bet that by this time next year, if the trough-feeding elected officials aren't thrown out, the 47% will increase in number.  Brian DeVane, in a letter in today's Wall Street Journal pointed out that "entitlement and dependency are learned behaviors."  You are a contributing factor to that dependency.  Shame on you!

Race - "A Nation of Cowards"

May 30, 2010
SENT TO: Obama, Pelosi, Bishop, Reid, Schumer, Gillibrand

Following the inauguration of President Barack Obama, Attorney General, Eric Holder referred to the United States as a nation of cowards in discussing the issue of race.  In response to that condemnation, the following is presented for consideration and discussion.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THE OUR-RACE VALUE SYSTEM

The “Our-Race Value System” is adapted from one written by a proponent of racial focus in 1981.

The original author withstood the ravage of being denied his earned ascension to the number one position in a big-city school system. His dedication to the pursuit of excellence, despite systematic denials, has inspired a race-specific group. They have called upon the wisdom of all past generations of suffering members of their race for guidance in fashioning an instrument of racial self-determination, their Racial Value System.

Beginning in 1982, an annual Racial Value System - Educational Scholarship in the name of the original author was instituted. The first recipient of the Award, which is given annually to the man or woman who best exemplifies their Racial Value System, was given to a member of that racial group.

THE OUR-RACE VALUE SYSTEM

These Racial Ethics must be taught and exemplified in homes, churches, nurseries and schools, wherever members of our race are gathered. They consist of the following concepts:

1. Commitment to God. "The God of our weary years" will give us the strength to give up prayerful passivism and become Racial Christian Activists, soldiers for our racial freedom and the dignity of all humankind.

2. Commitment to our racial Community. The highest level of achievement for any person of our race must be a contribution of strength and continuity of our racial Community.

3. Commitment to the Family of our race. My racial family circle must generate strength, stability and love, despite the uncertainty of externals, because these characteristics are required if the developing person is to withstand warping by our racist competitive society. Those of our race who are blessed with membership in a strong family unit must reach out and expand that blessing to the less fortunate.

4. Dedication to the Pursuit of Education. We must forswear anti-intellectualism. Continued survival demands that each person of our race be developed to the utmost of his/her mental potential despite the inadequacies of the formal education process. “Real education” fosters understanding of ourselves as well as every aspect of our environment. Also, it develops within us the ability to fashion concepts and tools for better utilization of our resources, and more effective solutions to our problems. Since the majority of those of our race have been denied such learning, our race’s Education must include elements that produce high school graduates with marketable skills, a trade or qualifications for apprenticeships, or proper preparation for college. Basic education for all of those of our race should include Mathematics, Science, Logic, General Semantics, Participative Politics, Economics and Finance, and the Care and Nurture of our race’s minds.

5. Dedication to the Pursuit of Excellence. To the extent that we individually reach for, even strain for excellence, we increase, geometrically, the value and resourcefulness of our race’s Community. We must recognize the relativity of one’s best; this year’s best can be bettered next year. Such is the language of growth and development. We must seek to excel in every endeavor.

6. Adherence to Our-Race Work Ethic. "It is becoming harder to find qualified people to work in our towns." Whether this is true or not, it represents one of the many reasons given by businesses and industries for deserting our areas. We must realize that a location with good facilities, adequate transportation and a reputation for producing skilled workers will attract industry. We are in competition with other cities, states and nations for jobs. High productivity must be a goal of our race’s workforce.
7. Commitment to Self-Discipline and Self-Respect. To accomplish anything worthwhile requires self-discipline. We must be a community of self-disciplined persons if we are to actualize and utilize our own human resources, instead of perpetually submitting to exploitation by others. Self-discipline, coupled with a respect for self, will enable each of us to be an instrument of our race’s Progress and a model for our race’s Youth.

8. Disavowal of the Pursuit of "Middleclassness." Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must be able to identify the "talented tenth" of those subjugated; especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor's control.

Those so identified are separated from the rest of the people by:
●  Killing them off directly, and/or fostering a social system that encourages them to kill off one another.
●  Placing them in concentration camps, and/or structuring an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.
●  Seducing them into a socioeconomic class system which, while training them to earn more dollars, hypnotizes them into believing they are better than others and teaches them to think in terms of "we" and "they" instead of "us."
●  So, while it is permissible to chase "middleclassness" with all our might, we must avoid the third separation method - the psychological entrapment of racial "middleclassness." If we avoid this snare, we will also diminish our "voluntary" contributions to methods A and B. And more importantly, our race’s people no longer will be deprived of their birthright: the leadership, resourcefulness and example of their own talented persons.

9. Pledge to Make the Fruits of All Developing and Acquired Skills Available to our race’s Community.

10. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting our race’s Institutions.

11. Pledge Allegiance to all of our race’s Leadership Who Espouse and Embrace the Our-Race Value System.

12. Personal Commitment to Embracement of the Our-Race Value System. To measure the worth and validity of all activity in terms of positive contributions to the general welfare of our race’s Community and the Advancement of our race’s People towards freedom.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1.  What do you think about this?  Your comments are appreciated.

Citizens need to feel that the US Government is fulfilling its purpose to protect them.

2.  Could you please tell me why the case against Samir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson – the two New Black Panther Party members accused of intimidating voters in Philadelphia on November 4, 2008 – was dropped by Acting Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Loretta King and Attorney General Eric Holder?
